Spanish Grand Prix: Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton Cruises Through To Second Consecutive Race Win

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton nailed his second consecutive race win of the season as he blasted off and  finished quickest to seal the victory in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya at the Spanish Grand Prix, whilst Ferrari Sebastian Vettel lagged behind in fourth position.
The British driver blasted off in pole position and dominated the race through out, crossing the finish line in 1:35:29.972sec and was followed in second position by his Mercedes team-mate Valterri Bottas followed in second position and Red Bull Max Verstappen took the third position.
Meanwhile, Vettel was firing on in second position ahead of Valterri after a chaotic start early in the race, but soon slumped two positions behind after pitting for the second time robbed him of his chances, leaving the Mercedes team to dominate through in one-two podium position to the finish line.
Meanwhile, Verstappen could have lost his position when he damaged his front wing in an accident with Williams' Sergey Sirotkin but kept up his pace and blast on maintaining his lead over the Vettel to finish in podium position.
Hamilton added 25 points to maintain a strong lead in driver standing with 17 points clear of Ferrari's Vettel who stood in second position with 78 points and Valterri Bottas in third position with 58 points.
