"Slavery Was By Force" Will.i.am Educates Kanye West For Describing Slavery As Choice

Kanye West has got himself on the spot yet again after describing slavery as a "choice" in a lengthy discussion in TMZ newsroom.
The "Life of Pablo" rapper was interviewed with Harvey Levin where he explained he reasons for wearing the "Make America Great Again" hat which he was highly criticised for.
In his words during the discussion, the father-of-three labelled the African American history of slavery as "Choice." And given his reason for that he said African Americans "can't be mentally enslaved for 400 years."
That did not come through fine with Will.i.am, who disputed Kanye's opinion on slavery and slammed him as "Ignorant" in a discussion with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain (GMB).
"That broke my heart, because I thought about my grandma, who was born in 1920...And my grandmother's grandma who was a slave. And when you're a slave, youre owned," he pointed out.
"You don't choose if you're owned. When you're a slave you're deprived of education. That's not choice, that's by force...That statement (Kanye's) is one of the most ignorant statement that anyone who came from the hood who ever say about their ancestors," Will.i.am slammed Kanye.
