Morgan Freeman Threatens To Press Legal Action Against CNN
Morgan Freeman is not taking likely recent allegations of sexual harassment and inpropriate misconduct towards women levelled against him and his threatening the file a legal action against the CNN.
The "Invictus" film star actor in a letter sent to the media outfit demanded that the allegations published about him be retracted because he has been accused on false ground and based on misunderstood story from the accuser Tyra Martin who did not point out anyone on the junkset as the perpetrator.
According to the Dailymail, Freeman, 80, through his legal clarified that the reporter Chloe Melas has misinterpreted statement he said about her in an interview which he actually directed at a co-actor Michael Caine.
In the letter addressed to the Head of CNN, Jeff Zucker, the actor's legal team stated that "nothing about what Mr. Freeman said - or any "look in his eyes" - supports Ms Melas' takeaway. Me. Melas nonetheless made a conscious decision to treat Mr. Friedman's comment as a for of sexual harassment, and then set out on a crusade to vilify him."
However, the American media company maintained it stand on the revelation and described the actor's lawyers accusations as "disappointing" and it is "difficult to reconcile" with statement made by the Oscar winning actor after the publication.
