Monaco Grand Prix: Daniel Ricciardo Defiles Power Loss To Beat Sebastian Vettel And Lewis Hamilton, Claims First Victory In Monaco
Daniel Rcciardo claimed his first ever race win in Monaco as he defiled the odds to dominate the race over Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton through to the cross line.
The Red Bull driver drove impressively from the start, keeping up his pace to maintain pole position in spite of losing power after pitting and managed to hold off Vettel to finish quickest in 1:42:54.807, ahead of the German who finished in second place and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton came third.
Having won the race, Australian scored 25 points to be in third place with 72 points in driver stand behind Vetttel [98] and Hamilton [110].
