Madrid Open: Rafael Nadal Reaches Third Round After Beating Gael Monfils

Rafael Nadal continued in his winning streaks, as he conveniently defeat Gael Monfils in second round of the Madrid Open.
The world no.1 Rafael Nadal, remained unbeaten without dropping a set for 48 consecutive matches and have reached the third round after beating taking down the Frenchman, 31, in straight sets 6-3 6-1 which lasted for 74 minutes.
The Spaniard, 31, is posed for his sixth title in Madrid, and will face Argentine Diego Schwartzman In the third round.
Speaking after the match, the acclaimed all-time best on clay said he played the match "with the right intensity, the right focus all the time," and recalling the injury he had he add "what I am most pleased with is I am recovered from my injury. That makes me feel strong and go on court with confidence...That's important for me especially on this surface [clay court]."
