Madrid Open: Novak Djokovic Loses To Britain's Kyle Edmund In Second Round
Former world no. 1 Novak Djokovic has suffered yet another earlier exit after being defeated by Great Britain's Kyle Edmund in second round of the Madrid Open.
After an hour and 42 minutes of play, Kyle, 23, successfully knock out the Serb and 12-time grand slam winner after three sets 6-3 2-6 6-3.
Novak, 31, speaking about his defeat to Kyle after the match said in admission that he was "just better in the decisive moment."
He added saying that the Briton "has improved obviously, his backhand. His forehand is obviously his weapon...Definitely Kyle is playing the best tennis of his life."
The Briton will face his Belgian counterpart David Goffin in the third round.
