Madrid Open: Denis Shapovalov Defeats Kyle Edmund To Reach Semi-Finals

Great Britain's Kyle Edmund has been beaten in the quarter-finals of the Madrid Open by Canada's Denis Shapovalov.
The Briton who defeated former world no 1 Novak Djokovic, conceded to the aggressive play of the 19-year-old Canadian after three sets  5-7 7-6(8-6) 6-4.

Consequentially, Shapovalov has becomes youngest player ever to reach the tournament's semi-final, and will now face in the semi-finals German Alexandra Zverev who defeated the United States'  John Isner in straight sets 6-4, 5-7.
