Internazional BNL d'Italia: Rafael Nadal Beats Novak Djokovic To Reach Final

Rafael Nadal is set for his eighth title in Rome as he reached the final after making it through a tough match with Novak Djokovic who yet bowed out of the tournament in straight sets in the semi-finals of the internazional BNL d'Italia.
Innthe opener, the world no. 1 fenced off offensive from the Serb who started off in the lead until he fought back, and broke the set in 4-2, holding onto the lead as the world no. 11 regained aggressiveness.
In spite of good displayed of competence from Djokovic, Nadal yet won in straight sets 7-6(4) 6-3 after playing for an hour and 56 minutes on Court Central.
The Spaniard, 31, after winning reached remarkable milestone of 356th Masters 1000 match win, upsetting previous record set by his Swiss counterpart Roger Federer(355) to be all-time top winner in ATP World Tour Master 1000 history.
Speaking after the match, Nadal acknowledged "it was a tough battle" with Djokovic as the both brought into the game "good combination of tactics" but unfortunately victory can only be for one person.
