Internazional BNL d'Italia: Novak Djokovic Reaches First Semi-final Since Wimbledon, Set To Face Rafael Nadal
Novak Djokovic is set for a big match in the semi-final, as he will face his World no. 1 Rafael Nadal for a fight for a place in the final of the Internazional BNL d'Italia on Sunday.
The Serb had a tough match with Japan's Kei Kishikiro, who started well but soon faded as Djokovic fought back from a set down to win the match and reached the semi-finals.
Kei comfortably cruised through for a win at the opener, but that did not last as the Japanese aggressiveness dropped drastically, paving the way for the four-time champion to gained momentum topping the match in three sets 2-6 6-1 6-3.
At third game, Kei became so fatigued at 1:1 (0 40) that he smashed should-be points into the net as the Serb broke the set for his fourth straight wins of the year..
Djokovic will be playing his first semi final match since Wimbledon last year against the Spaniard for their 51th encounters which he leads the Spaniard in FedEx ATP Head2Head count by 26-26.
