French Open 2018: Rafael Nadal Knocks Out Guido Pella, Cruises Through To The Quarter Final
World no. 1 Rafael Nadal did what he knows best once again as he cruised through to the quarter final after confortably beating Argentine Guido Pella at Roland Garros.
The Spaniard controlled the game through out the sets, and sealed his victory over Pella in three sets by 6-2 6-1 6-1 in their 23-2 FedEx AT head-to-head count.
The top seed described the match as a solid and very glad the match went as he said "during the match i improved the level. The forehand especially after the first set...playing more inside the four and hitting many more winners."
In the quarter final, Nadal will take on Frenchman Richard Gasquet who defeated Tunisian Malik Jaziri after topping in four sets by 6-2 3-6 6-3 6-0.
