French Open 2018: Ed Edmund Cruises Through To Second Round, Beats Australian Alex de Minaur

British no. 1 Edmund Kyle comfortably reached the second round after defeating Australian Alex de Minaur in the opener.
Kyle, 23, brilliantly overrode the teenager, 19, knocking him out in straight sets by 6-4 6-2 6-3 to progress to the next round at Roland Garros.
Speaking after the match, the Britain's top seed was delighted in how the game went and executived saying it is crucial "against a guy like Alex where it can get quutr tough easily if you don't play well."
Ed will take on in the second round Hungarian Marton Fucsovics who defeated Canada's Vasek Pospisil in straight sets 6-3 6-3 7-6 (7-5) in the opener.
