British no. 1 Edmund Kyle comfortably reached the second round after defeating Australian Alex de Minaur in the opener.
Kyle, 23, brilliantly overrode the teenager, 19, knocking him out in straight sets by 6-4 6-2 6-3 to progress to the next round at Roland Garros.
Speaking after the match, the Britain's top seed was delighted in how the game went and executived saying it is crucial "against a guy like Alex where it can get quutr tough easily if you don't play well."
