Dr. Dre Fails To Stop Similar Name From Getting Trademark
Dr. Dre may be famous for his skills at getting music proper done just as a doctor should, but one medical doctor who bears similar name to him, will not allow the hip hop's doctor's fame deter him from trademarking his name.
Dr. Dre opposed to the Pennsylvania-based gyneacologist, Dr. Drai, application for trademark of his name and his "Doctor Drai OBGYN media" on the ground that its in conflict with his own brand name.
In spite of Dre's attempts to stop the application from being granted, sources learnt that the gyno whose real name is Draion M. Burch, was yet granted on the ground that the hip hop doctor and Dr. Drai - a medical speaker and oral sex expert - are two different personality.
Dr. Drai filed for trademark of his name and "OBBYN media" in 2015 but Dr. Dre strongly opposed to it, but as it is now the oral sex expert has no business with music and since his application has been granted, he may now continued in empowering his patients in getting the best out of their indulgence.
