Arsenal Confirm Unai Emery As New Manager

Arsenal have finally confirmed the appointment of former Paris St-Germain boss as new manager to replace Frenchman Arsene Wenger.
The Spaniard's appointment was confirmed in statement released by the club's C.E.O Ivan Gazidis on Tuesday, and stated that the choice of Unai was unanimous across the board because his track record stood out amongst other contestants shortlisted.
"Unai has an outstanding track record of success throughout his career," Gazidis pointed out "has developed some of the best young talent in Europe and plays an exciting, progressive style of football that fit Arsenal perfectly."
"His hard-working and passionate approach and his sense of values on and off the pitch make him the ideal person to take us forward," he says in his statement..
Speaking about how conclusion was reached on appointment, the club's chief executive said: "We conducted a confident, wide-ranging and vigorous search involving extensive background reference, data and video analysis, and personal meetings with all the candidate we shortlisted... We were unanimous in our choice of Unai."
Arsenal also tweeted a picture of it new manager with a caption that reads as "Our new head coach. Together, let's make this era a special one #WelcomeUnai."
In the meetings with candidates, Unai wowed Arsenal executive with detailed analysis with forensics of every players and how he would change the team by building it around Aaron Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
