Travis Scott Countersues Super Bowl Concert Promoter Over Alleged Show Bailing
The "Antidote" rapper admitted to having been paid upfront of $150,000 but claimed the promoter failed to update him on his travel plans up to the time of the event, as a result he could not show up due too logistics and weather condition.
In addition, he also accused PJAM of having to have hint on the show to a media outfit before the due date and that he says was a breach in contract between the two parties.
The rapper's lawyer Howard King, also alleged PJAM of an attempt to "shake Travis down and avoid the consequences of their breaches" by the way his client has been sued.
Howard went further saying: "Instead of pursuing a misguided attempt to so the narrative and salvage their tattered reputation, the responsible step would have been for PJAM to pay Travis the balance of his fee and move on to their next opportunity."
While the promoter is suing for refund of money paid to him and for damages he caused them, the 26-year-old rapper is now demanding that the remaining amount owed him for the show be paid.
