Monte Carlo Masters: Rafael Nadal Confident Of Having Good Outing And Hopes It's His Year First Finish
Rafael Nadal is ready and all in to take on any contenders at the on-going Monte Carlo Masters in France.
The World no. 1 said at an interview that he is set for his 11th title at the event, and hope that it will the first title he would win this year, according to the Expres.
The Spaniard, 31, talked about his current form of which he is confident having being out for three months due to injury to his right hip.
"I feel that I'm playing well," he said " Its hopefully going to be my first event of the year that I can finish. I'm excited about at it."
Being dubbed "the best of all-time" on clay, he believed his track record at the tournament is an advantage that he has over his counterparts in Monte Carlo.
"I had some good days of practice here, playing some good sets...I'm enjoying being here in Monte-Carlo in an event that ways brings me the best feelings possible and good memories," he said.
However, also playing at the event is Serbia's Novak Djokovic who has been working hard on himself and closely with his coaching crew for a good outing in Monte Carlo.
