United responded to City's lead through Paul Pogba who finished an effort from Alexis Sanchez to Herrera, who slipped the ball to him for a finished in 53rd minutes, and he yet again scored the equalizer with a header from Alexis Sanchez's lob pass in 58th minutes.
The game slipped off City when United's Smalling lifted up to tap home the ball from the box after a free-kick in 69th minutes.
