Premier League: Oliver Giroud Nets A Double To Lead Chelsea To 2-3 Win From Behind Over Southampton
Chelsea came from the behind to thrash Southampton at home 2-3 as Oliver Giroud found the back of the net twice.
The Saints led the game from the first-half of the game until Giroud got a header to Alonso's cross to get a goal for Chelsea in 70th minutes.
Prior to the visitor's comeback to win, the home side's Azpilicueta got a cut-back to Talic who drilled a sidefooted shot home in 21th minutes, and doubled their lead as Bednarek finished Ward-Prowse's dip into the box from a free-kick in 60th minutes.
However, after Giroud had pulled back a goal in 70th, Willian got a through ball to Hazard on the left side of the box and he kicked it through for an equaliser in 75th minutes.
Giroud netted his second goal of the game and the winning goal for Chelsea when he banged a shot from 15-yard after a free-kick in 78th minutes.
Chelsea are still five points award from getting a place in top four as they now have 60 points behind Tottenham which are in fourth position with 65 points.
