Monte Carlo Masters: Rafael Nada Comfortably Beat Aljaz Bedenel To Reach The Third Round
World no.1 Rafael Nadal has reached the third round after he comfortably beat Aljaz Bedene in the second round.
The Spaniard took down his Slovenian counterpart in straight sets 6-1 6-3 that lasted for just only 68th minutes.
Rafael who hopes to make the tournament his first year win described the match as a "positive start" for him.
He went further in his speech in a court-side interview, that he wants to spend more time on court as he said: "Since Shanghai last year, I have spend not enough time on the court competing."
"Every match that I have the chance to win is a great news, because it [helps my] confidence and is a chance to play another day. That's what I need."
The 10-time champion who is often described as the "all-time clay best" will face Russia's Karen Hachanov in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters.
