Europa League: Atlético Madrid Draw Arsenal 1-1 In Semi-final First-Leg Tie
Atlético Madrid managed to get a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in spite one man down in the semi final first-leg tie at Emirates stadium.
The host team well dominated the game and their hope winning the game was squashed late into the game by Frenchman Antoine Griezmann.
Gunners had led the match through Alexandre Lacazette, who powered a header to the post from Whilsere's cross from left flank in 61st minutes before Atlético Madrid's Griezmann after drilling a shot, completed a rebound from Ospina for an equalizer in 82nd minutes.
Atlético's Sime Vrsaljko was red carded for a rough tackle on Lacazette in 10 minutes, and later manager Diego for a dispute with the referee in 13th minutes.
The two clubs will meet again in Spain at Atlético Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano stadium on May 3rd.
