Ed Sheeran Counter-Sues Alleged Copyright Infringement Over Song He Wrote For Tim McGraw
Ed Sheeran has filed a lawsuit in response to a standing case against him for copyright infringement for a song he wrote for an American country music singer Tim McGraw.
The British singer and writer, wrote a hit song "The Rest Of Our Life" for Tim and Faith Hills which the plaintiffs Sean Carey and Beau Golden alleged his a sample of Jasmine Rae's song "When I Found You" released in 2014.
However, Sheeran in his case filed on Monday, dismissed any similarities between the two songs, holding that his which he composed, is an original of itself, according yo the TMZ.
He wants the court to disregard claims from Corey and Beau because their allegations are baseless and over-rule their case.
