Drake Wants Judge Not To Accept Social Media Materials As Evidence In His Assault Case Hearing
Drake is not anti-social media but for it post to be used as evidence in an assault case filed against him, is one thing he is asking the presiding judge not to allow it.
In 2014, the rapper was sued by a music producer who claimed he was being assaulted by his bodyguard Chubbs, who he alleged hit him in the face and broke his jaw, and that landed him at the hospital where he was treated and operated on.
According to Blast, the producer whose name is Noel Fisher otherwise known as Detail, claimed the incident happened at the rapper's L.A mansion, when he visited the place on invite from the artist who he claimed wanted to work with him on a project.
Drake is demanding that evidence from social media should not be allowed because the plaintiff might present regurgitated stories as eveidence considering his personality and career.
"Due to the plethora of news stories available, and after observing Detail's inclination towards muddying the waters by introducing said news stories during the the deposition of Chubbs, Drake is concerned Drtail may try to introduce the same stories at trial," motion reads.
Hearing at the court over the assault case filed by plaintiff Detail against Drake reportedly is scheduled for next month.
