Detectives Lead Conor McGregor To Court In Handcuffs
Conor McGregor was put in handcuffs as a group of detectives lead him out of police precinct in New York on Friday morning.
The two-time UFC world champion was loaded into the back of a sedan car with both hands handcuffed to his back and moved to the court by detectives.
The NYPD have pressed three counts charges of assault and one charge of criminal mischief followed an altercation he was involved in with rival UFC fighters in a van.
The 28-year-old led a band of accomplice to a bus loaded with fighters, and unleashed an attack on the vehicle, vandalizing it with missiles thrown at it.
The incident led to two fighter sustaining injuries, leading to cancellation of many fights.
According to NYPD's Thomas Antonetti, a 25-year-old Cian Cowley was also arrested in connection to the incident which happened on Thursday evening at Barclays center in Brooklyn.
