Deontay Wilder Accepts Challenge From Anthony Joshua
There is no more doubts over the much anticipated fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder as the American has agreed "ready to sign" to terms and conditions for the fight to take place.
The 32-year-old American accepted to fight on 60/40 split term that Anthony Joshua offer for the fight to take place.
The development was confirmed through his co-manager Shelly Finkel, who told the Telegraph about her client readiness to take up the challenge.
“We are really glad that Anthony Joshua said for the first time ‘I will fight Deontay [Wilder]," she said.
Finkel went further and assured that the fight would be held in summer and Wilder would contact the Brit fighter's manager Eddie and Barry Hearn saying: "We want to make it public that Deontay wants the fight, and we are prepared to come over, or meet here and get the deal done...is ready to sign and come to the UK to fight this summer."
"Assuming it will be in Wembley stadium in the summer, we are ready, and if they are ready as they say they are, we want to get it done...There is nothing to stop it going ahead," she said.
Joshua announced he is ready to take up fight with Wilder after his fight win New Zealander Joseph Parker in Cardiff on Saturday.
