Colin Kaepernick Receives Amnesty International's Ambassador of Conscience Award

Colin Kaepernick has been honoured with Amnesty International's Ambassador of Conscience Award for his protest against brutality melted out to minorities on Saturday.
The former San Francisco 49ers quater-back was commended for "an inspiring contribution to helping human rights" by Amnesty at the award ceremony.
The organisation also confirmed the development in tweet of a picture of the event with backdrop of the NFL star picture with a caption that reads as: "...Colin embodies the true spirit of activism. Thank you, Colin, for refusing to accept racial discrimination and injustice."
The NFL free agent, 30, lamented the ill-treatment faced by African Maerican and Latinos from the authorities.
"Racialised oppression and dehumanisation is woven into the very fabric of our nation - the effects of which can be seen in the lawful lynching of black and brown people by the police, and the mass incarceration of black and brown lives in the prison industrial complex," he said.
Colin pioneered the controversial kneeling protest during his country national anthem for brutality authorities dole out to minorites.
