Barcelona Open: Rafael Nadal Conveniently Beat Guillermo Garcia-Lopez To Reach The Quarter Final
World no. 1 Rafael Nadal cruised to the quarter final as he comfortably took down Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in the third round of the Barcelona Open.
The Spaniard, 33, did not find his much of a difficulty with his opponent Lopez, and after 79 minutes of play, he won the round in straight sets 6-1 6-2.
Nadal have now extended his unbeating run on clay to 40 consecutive matches and in head-to-head count against Lopez, the top seed has won five out of all six encounters.
The tournament's 10-time champion will in quarter final face Martin Klizan who defeated former world no. 1 Novak Djokovic in second round.
