Whitney Houston Documentary "Whitney" Is Set To Be Released

A documentary of life and legacy legendary songstress Whitney Houston will soon be released.
The biopic which is titled "Whitney" is handed by an award-winning film director Kevin Macdonald who has been "officially support by the late singer's estate".
According to the Weekly Entertainment, Macdonald said in a statement that the late artist's estate has granted him "freedom to follow the story wherever it went."
Macdonald, in his word said : "I approached Whitney's life like a mystery story; why did someone with so much raw talent and beauty self-destruct so publicly and painfully?"
"I was lucky enough to have the support of the Pat Houston and the Whitney Houston estate in this quest. They entrustedme.withthe 'key to the vault' while giving me complete freedom to follow the story wherever it went. Whitney is...a woman that even her most die-hard fans never knew."
The documentary is scheduled to hit the big screen in the United States and United Kingdom on July 6.
