Premier League: Mesut Özil Throws Off Hand Gloves In Frustration As Brighton Beat Arsenal 2-1
Arsenal suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion such that German forward Mesut Özil could not hide his disappointment at the team and as spotted throwing of his hand gloves during the match.
Arsenal have just been beaten back-to-back by league leaders Manchester City in League Cup final on Sunday and Premier League match on Thursday, before losing to Brighton for the first time since 1982 on Sunday.
Brighton sealed their victory right in first half with Lewis Dunk drilled through to the post Shane Duffy's headed pass in 7th minutes, and Glenn Murray netted the second goal with a header to Pascal Grob's cross in 24th minutes.
Arsenal pulled in a goal through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in 43rd minutes but that turned out to a consolation because Brighton went on to win the game.
Arsenal have loss three matches in a week as pressure mounts on the team and are sixth in the table with 45 points.
