Pep Guardiola Fined £20,000 Over Wearing Yellow Ribbon On Touchline

Manchester City Pep Guardiola has bagged £20,000 in fine for wearing a yellow ribbon by the pitchside during his team defeat to Wigan at the FA Cup.
The football associated described wearing a yellow ribbon as a "political statement" having served the City manager formal warning twice and went on to wear it at his game with Wigan on February 19th.
Guardiola admitted the charge of wearing the ribbon against the FA warnings as it breaches advertising and kit regulations.
The 47-year-old had previously dismissed warnings issued, claiming it has nothing to do with Spain's political situation with arrest of Catalan politician but "It's about democracy".
