FA Cup: Lukaku, Matic Seal Semi-final Slot For Manchester United With 2-0 Win Over Brighton

Manchester United are through to the semi-final of the FA Cup after beating Brighton 2-0 in the quarter final on Saturday.

on Tuesday, the Jose Mourinho led club were knocked out of the Champions League by Sevilla, but were well into the game with Brighton and are one match away from final. 

United's Nemanja Matic curved a cross through to the box and Romelu Lukaku put a header to it for an opener in 37th minutes.

Brighton could not get an equalizer until late into the second half when United added another goal to their lead through Matic who headed in a cross from Ashley Youth's free-kick

Mourinho commended his team for having made through to semi-final describing them as players with a "different mentality, quality, background, with different status, knowhow," any coach would like to have.
