Black Panther Becomes All-Time Most Grossing Superhero Film With $630M As 'Pacific Rim Uprising' Tops At Box Office

Marvel's Black Panther has become the highest grossing superhero film of all-time, in spite of topping in second position at the box office in it sixth weekend with a gross of  $16.65 million.
The Cooglar-directed superhero film has recorded a gross of $630 million in 36 day to beat Star Wars: The Last Jedi in domestic gross and has upset record set by The Avenger with $623.2 million for all-time highest domestic gross.
Currently, it highest pre-summer grossing film of all-time and stood in fourth position in highest domestic gross behind Spider-Man, The Dark Knight and The Avengers.
However, it was beaten over the weekend by John Boyega starring film 'Pacific Rim Uprising which debut with gross of $28 million having been screened from 3,708 cinemas.
In third position behind Black Panther is Jon Erwin directed film 'I Can Only Imagine which in its second grossed $13.8 millio  having screened from 2,258 cinemas.
