Roger Federer Looks Forward To Retirement But Not In A Rush
Roger Federer has been in a remarkable form this season since his comback from knee injury, and has won three Grand Slam titles within 14 months, and on top of that oldest player to be ranked ATP world number one.
No doubts, the Swiss who has won 20 major singles through his career, is very much at the close of it all.
Speaking in an interview on CNN Sport with Don Riddell, he admitted it is what he is "looking forward to" but not as soon as might be anticipated.
"I got a little glimpse into it when I was out for six to eight months in 2016, and I actually enjoyed it a lot!" he told Riddell "i'll never get bored, so I'm looking forward to it actually... but it should wait for the moment."
