PyeongChang Winter Olympics: Seun Adigun and Akuoma Omeoga Make Historic Appeearnace For Nigeria In Women's Bobsleigh

Nigerian Seun Adigun and Akuoma Omeoga finished In 20th position in the country's debut in women's Bobsleigh in PyeongChang.
The pair finished in 52.21sec in their debut and missed out on competiting for olympic medal at the final on Wednesday.
However, the pair have done their native country proud being the first ever bobsled from an African country to have participated in the sport.
Adigun, a 100m hurdles athlete at the London 2012 Olympics, in an interview with NBC, talked about how she brought about the initiative of being a bobsled.
She pointed out it all after watching Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics when she "had Olympic fever" and developed interest in the sport.
"I knew quite a few track and filed athletes who had transitioned into the winter sport so I figured, 'You know, I think i could try this.'
She founded the sport for her country less than two years ago. After learning how to drive, she introduced two other African Americans of Nigeran descent Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga to make a team.
