PyeongChang Winter Olympics: Sarah Hoefflin Wins Gold As Team GB's Izzy Atkin Wins Country First Ever Games Medal In Skis

Switzerland's Sarah Hoefflin finished quickest to win the gold medal as Great Britain's Izzy Atkin finished in third position to win the country's first ever Games medal in skis.   

Hoefflin, 27, scored 91.20 point which is 3.2 points ahead her compatriot Mathilde Gremaud who won finsihed second for silver medal and the Brit's Izzy Atkin scored 86.40 point for bronze at the final of skiing slopestyle.

 Izzy, 19, who was born in the United States won bronze medal in snow sport at the winter Olympics in 2014.
"I'm speechless and stoked to win the bronze. I knew I'd skied the best I could and I was just waiting for the last girls to drop," she admitted on winning the medal from the sport.
