PyeongChang Winter Olympics: Czech's Ester Ledecka Becomes First Female Athlete To Win Gold Medal In Two Sports In A Games

Never before has a female athlete won gold medal in two sports in a Winter Olympic sport until Czech's Ester Ledecka did, first in women's skiing super G and second from snowboarding parallel giant slalom on Saturday.
The 22-year-old finished quickest ahead of Germany's Selina Jorg whom she led by 0.46 sec to win gold medal snowboarding parallel giant slalom.
Selina won the silver as her compatriot Ramona Theresia Hofmeister won a bronze medal.
Ledecka becomes the fifth athele in Olympics history to have won medals in two sports in a Games.
When asked about how she had made it to win medals in two sports she said "It was quite tough to change myself into a snowboarder. I had one week for it and until yesterday I didn't feel good, but today I found the snowboarder in me, luckily."
