PyeongChang Winter Olympics: China's Wu Dajing Wins Gold, Set New World-Record Time For Men's 500m Short Track Speed Skater

Wu Dajing set new record for men's 500m short track speed skater to win gold medal for China at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.
At the quarter final, Wu broke the world-record time set by America's John Celski leading his time by 0.137sec, and later at the final upset his best performance by finishing first in new world record time 39.584 second.
The 23-year-old dominated from start to finish as South Korean Hwang Daeheon and Lim Hyojun finished in second and third positions for silver and bronze medals respectively.

The two South Korean could not catch up to Dajing throughout in spite of efforts to chase him down, leaving America's Samuel Girard to finish fourth position.
