Black Panther Tops Box Office In Second Weekend As Domestic Grossing Crosses $400 Million
Marvel's Black Panther maintained the top spot in it second weekend as it grossed $108 million domestically at the box office.
The Ryan Coogler directed movie only dropped 46% from it debut weekend grossing of $202 million after screening at 4,020 locations.
Its second weekend performance has placed it above Jurassic World ($106.5 million) in record set for second weekend to become second highest second weekend earning of all time after Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In addition, in the domestic market, Black Panther has netted $400 million in just ten day, making it next to Jurassic Park and The Force Awaken in all-time fastest grosser in box office record.
Internationally, the Coogler's has netted over $700 million having grossed over $300 million from market out Northern American in it second weekend.
It is projected to reach $900 million mark by the end of next weekend, but at the moment it has upset Man of Steel, Logan and Justice League.
