Wesley Sniper Reveals Black Panther Could Have Been Cast In The 90s

Wesley Sniper revealed Black Panther could have long been cast in the 90s, but as it was with Marvel then it could not come to terms on producing first superhero film based on African heritage. 
Having not been able to get the story cast, Sniper who was intended to star in the film, later starred in Blades instead because as at the time Superman and Batman were the trending films 
"I think Black Panther spoke to me because he was noble," Snipers recalled the film was like behind-the-scene.  
"And he was the antithesis of the stereotypes presented...It had cultural significance, social significance. It was something that the black community and white community hadn't seen before."
Former editor in chief at Marvel Tom DelFacto who served prior to the time the studios was bought over by Warners, narrated their struggle with competitor considering the film. 
"Our major competitor was owned by Warners, and they were coming out with Superman movies and Batman movie. We there struggling," Tom said.
