Sony's "Jumanji:Welcome To The Jungle" Tops Box Office For Second Weekend With $27 Million

Dwayne "The Rock" starring fim "Jumanji:Welcome To The Jungle" retained box office the top spot for two weekend in a row with net gross earning of $27 million from 3,849 locations.
With four newcomers - Paddington 2, Proud Mary and The Commuter - debuting over the weekend, Jumanji yet come out atop in gross earning.
In spite of the fact that it dropped in earning by 27%, it has now recorded a total domestic gross of $283.1 million on it fourth weekend and having international gross of $662 million. It has proven to be of high performance with a conservative budget of $90 million.
Meanwhile, on it first two weekend, Jumanji  was out-performed by the Star Wars: The Last Jedi which topped the box office for two straight weekends, but it gained momentum to claim the top spot for two weekends later.
However, coming behind Jumanji on the chart is the 20th Century Fox's "The Post" which gained momentum on it fourth weekend to be in the second position.
Having had an increase of 995.4% in gross, the Fox's movie recorded a earning of $18.6 million from 2,819 cinemas which brought it total domestic gross to about £23.1 million.
Following in third position is newcomer Liongate's "The Commuter" which recorded gross of $13.45 million on debut weekend from 2,892 cinemas, and the "Insidious: The Last Key" followed in fourth position with gross of $12.1 million on it second weekend from 3,150 cinemas.
