Premier League: Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure's Contestable Late Goal Ruins The Day For Southampton (Watford 2 2 Southampton)

The manners by which Watford's Adboulaye Doucoure late goal saved the day for his side, in a match that ended in a draw with Southampton, was not different from Argentine football legend Diego Maradona's "hand of God" trick.
Late into the match, the French international in a close range with Alex McCarthy, skilfully diverted a header pass away, to gain a scoring advantage for an equaliser.
First half of the match went well with the visiting side which before the break had scored two goal in the 20th and 44th minutes through James Ward-Prowse.
On their return from break, Hornets' Andre Gray headed in a rebound which caught the bar from Saints' goalie's parry in the 58th minutes.

Meanwhile, Southampton could have ended their nine 'no-match-win' run, but Doucore's effort with having to divert the ball off McCarthy, for a goal on the brink of full time settled the game in a 2-2 draw.
Hornets have only won a match in 10 previous Premier League games, and pretty much in a better position (10th) in the table than their Southampton counterparts which are few points away from relegation zone.
