French Montana Becomes First Rapper To Receive Global Citizen Ambassador
French Montana has earned for himself the Global Citizen Ambassador for his philanthropic charity work to help the poor healthcare system of Uganda, making him the first rapper to be named for the honour.
The New York-based rapper was so named at an event organised on Friday in New York, for donation of $100,000 made towards building of maternity clinic for pregnant women of the said country.
"I feel like every mother and child deserves the same care, weather they're from [the U.S] or back home in the motherland. It made my heart heavy," the Newsweek quotes French as saying.

More so, his donation soon caught the attention of his industry associates like Diddy and The Weekend who also gave the same amount in donation toward the project which reportedly is projected to meet the health needs of more than 200,000 people.
In 2017, French Montana released a single "Unforgettable" with Swae Lee, the video of which was record in Kampala, Uganda.
