David Letterman Recalls When Malia Pranked Him At A White House Party, "She's A Riot...Funny" Obama Says
David Letterman kicked off his new show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" on Netflix with former President Barack Obama, where both shared interesting memories that had the audience laughing.
the former President recalled his days at the White House and interesting moments he shared with his family especially that of Malia of Sasha
He talked about how his two daughters would teach him to how dance at a White House party with late pop singer Prince, and telling him rules to making good dance moves, but on his own has got what he called "dad's move".
"Prince asked Sasha to come up and dance maybe because she an excellent dancer. Then she pulls me up with surprises maybe because she always marks my dancing, but I have dad moves. I think the key is what we called staying in the pocket," he recalled.
When the former President talked about sobbing on the day he and his daughter's mum Michelle, dropped Malia off at college, Letterman cut in on Obama's jokes to tell his part about his experience with the former first daughter at a party.
"I have a story to tell about Malia," he interrupted Obama.
On his arrival at a party at the White House, he walked up to Malia to thank her on inviting him over and that was when he got clowned.
"My name is David Letterman," he said to Malia "and I am very happy to be at the party, and thank you for inviting me to the party."
"And she says, 'Yeah, you look like a guy who really knows how to party,'" and he responded saying "And i'm telling you, I love it."
That got the audience laughing and Obama did laughed, replying Letterman's joke he says "That was a pretty good line. She's a riot. She is funny."
