Australian Open 2018: Roger Federer Reaches Final, Beats Hyoen Chung Who Retires For Injury Sustained
Roger Federer has reached the final of the Australian Open final after beating South Korean counterpart Hyoen Chung who retired from the match due to injury sustained.
The Swiss who is the tournament's defending champion won the match after two straight 6-1, 5-2 during which Chung's injury could not allow him play any further and pulled out of the game.
Federer will now face at the final six seed Croatia tennis ace Marin Cilic who stopped unseeded British number two Kylie Edmund at the semi-final on Thursday.
The 31-year-old World No. 2 is set for his 20th grand slam title and sixth Australian Open title which would bring him to tall record set for the tournament by Novak Djokovic and former Australian tennis player Roy Emerson with six titles.
