Arsene Wenger Furious With Players For "Massive Mistakes" In Arsenal Defeat To Swansea

Wenger found his team's devastating 3-1 defeat to Swansea a tough one to swallow, and his calling them out for not been "good enough".
The Frenchman blamed his players for "massive mistakes" they made during the game on Tuesday which have cost them their position in top four and slid down to sixth with 42 points.
Arsenal had equalized Swansea's lead through Nacho Montreal until Petr Cech made a massive error that gave the host team's Jordan Ayew a chance to tap-in a second goal in 61th minutes, and Sam Clucas completed the score-line with a third in 86th minutes.

"We made unusual and massive mistakes that was the killer," Wenger admitted "Unfortunately, I believe we were not good enough, I believe we were not discipline enough. Overall we were not convincing defensively...Maybe it highlight the whole lack of quality of concentration."
Meanwhile, he praised Oliver Giroud who is set to join either Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund came as a substitute for Alex Iwobi for his "commitment" to the club.
"It's a tribute to Oliver yes because he is a guy who gave great service to the club, never let us down on the commitment front," he said.
