Wesley Snipes Reveals He Will Be Back For His Role In 'Blade'
Wesley Snipes has made known his interest to continue the role he played in New Line Cinema 1998 superhero film "Blade".
The 55-year-old actor starred as Eric Brooks in a film which debuted the opening weekend with a remarkable grossing of $131.2 million, surpassing the projection of $45 million on opening weekend.
On Saturday, he announced his interest in the role in a tweet saying: "When anyone asks "Who could be the next Blade?.. You already know there's only one Blade fam! #Blade."
The Blade and the second film 'Blade: Trinity' was successful on their opening weekend, but Snipes later dropped out of the role owing to issues that aroused between him and the film director David S. Goyer, whom he sued for the poor performance of the third film of the franchise.
