Warner Bros. Becomes First To Net Over $2 Billion At 2017 Domestic Box Office
As there is left three more holiday weekends before the year runs out, Warner Bro. has been smiling to the bank as it has reportedly past the $2 billion grossing mark at the 2017 domestic box office.
Internationally, the studios has made a tremendous grossing of over $5 billion just in a calendar year, and most of which comes from it superhero film "Wonder Woman" and "IT".
Warner are following record set in 2009, when it first reached the remarkable $2 billion grossing milestone, with most of the earnings coming from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince making $301.9 million in total annual grossing and The Hangover making $277.3 million.
As of November, "Wonder Woman" has made stunning performance of $412.5 million in grossing and "IT" has generated a total of $327.3 million for the studios.
Also in the league of high performing films for Warner Bros. this year is Justice League with domestic grossing of $212 million.
