Star Wars: The Last Jedi Nets $450 Million In Opening Weekend
Disney's "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" recorded a huge success at the box office, as the film debut with $450 million in grossing in opening weekend.
Domestically, the Disney film has earned a total of $220 million in North America only, which is exceeded the projected $200 million on opening weekend.
Internationally, it recorded a whopping amount of $230 million with the highest grossing coming from the UK with $36.7 million, Germany with $23.6 million and France with $18.1 million
"The Last Jedi" becomes the second most successful film for Disney after "The Force Awakens" in 2015 which netted $247.9 million in opening weekend.
On Tuesday, the film premiered on Tuesday at the Prince Albert Hall in London which had Prince Williams and Prince Harry in attendant.
