Serena Williams Is Set To Return To Tennis At The Mubadala World Championship In Abu Dhabi

After four months women's tennis ace Serena Williams gave birth to her daughter Alexis Jr. with media mogul fiancé Alexis Ohanian, she is set to be back in action in the tennis court at Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi, on Dec. 30th.
The 23-time Grand Slam title holder will be playing against Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, who won the French Open in May at the opening of the tournament next week.
Speaking about her return to the game, she talked about being "delighted" participate in the tournament in Abu Dhabi next week.
“I am delighted to be returning to the court in Abu Dhabi for the first time since the birth of my daughter in September," she said
"The Mubadala World Tennis Championship has long marked the beginning of the men’s global tennis season and I am excited and honoured to be making my comeback as part of the first women to participate in the event."
"I look forward to seeing the fans in Abu Dhabi at the 10th Edition of the Championship very soon."
The 36-year-old has been out of action since her January after winning the Australian Opening, and presently is ranked world no. 22.
