Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson Sued For Copyright Infringement Over "Uptown Funk"
"Uptown Funk" singer Bruno Mars and the songwriter Mark Ronson may not be finding the song that funky as they have been hit with a lawsuit by a female rap group.
The rap group of three femcee which were called The Sequence, alleged the song actually belong to them as it sound just as their hit single in the 70s "Funk You Up".
According to TMZ, the group claimed in the legal documents that "Uptown Funk" took after theirs which they claimed is the original in every form of it and are asking Mars and Ronson to pay an amount of money yet undeclared.
The trio rap group (Sequence) were signed to Sugar Hill in 1970s as the first female hip hop artists to be on the music label, and their single "Funk You Up" released in 1979 made it to The Billboard Top 50 Singles which was the third rap song to do so.
