Anthony Joshua Is Set To Fight WBO Champion Joseph Parker In March
British boxer Anthony Joshua is set to bout with WBO Champion Joseph Parker as talks over the fight is reportedly "95%" completed which is scheduled for March, 2018.
The 28-year-old heavyweight champion would add a belt to the three belts WBS, IBO and IBF he already holds if he won the fight against Parker.
"I think we're 95 percent of the way there with completing with Joseph Parker," Joshua said about the fight.
Giving his reasons for picking up a fight with Parker, he said his aim is to have the five titles and a fight with his New Zealander counterpart is a step towards that.
"There's only two left, I have three. There's five on the table and I have three of them," he mentioned "I want to fight for the fourth one, the WBO heavyweight championship of the world."
The Brit is not stopping at Parker as he also hope to pick up fight with undefeated WBC champion and if possible Tyson Fury.
"I don't respect him. I don't have much respect for many boxers in the heavyweight division, " Joshua said about Fury "I'm being honest. He's a lively opponent when he's fit."
