Walt Disney Confirms Beyoncé To Voice Nala In Upcoming "Lion King" Remake

Beyoncé Carter has finally nailed a role in long anticipated upcoming Walt Disney's live-action film "Lion King" remake.
Few months ago, the R&B singer was speculated to have been contacted by Disney to voice the character Nala which will be directed by Jon Favreau and now it is confirmed.
On Wednesday, the full list of characters was released and that included the mother-of-three as she will join other artists like Donald Glover who would play Simba, as she voice Nala in the remake.
Other characters enlisted include Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and Seth Rogan as Pumba the warthog. James Earl Jones will play Mufasa, Alfre Woodard is voicing Sarabi and John Kani as the baboon.
"It is a director's dream to assemble a talented team like this to bring this classic story to life," Favreau said after the full list of characters was released.
